Host venues may provide modest gift certificates for top finishers as promotional prizes.

Promotional contests of chance authorized

The current statute authorizes a business promotional contest where prize and chance are present but consideration is not. It also states that qualifying promotional contests under this section are not gambling as defined in RCW 9.46.0237.
