How does free poker work legally?
Pocket Eights events have no player buy-in and require no purchase to participate. They are structured as promotional contests that help advertise and promote the host venue.

What each side provides.
A successful night is a partnership. We take care of the poker experience; your venue provides a comfortable setting and keeps players taken care of at the table.
- Tables and chairs seating up to 10 players per table
- A well-lit, comfortable playing area
- Food and drink service at the tables
- Recommended gift certificates of $15, $10, and $5 for the top three
- Social media promotion of the poker night
- Payment the night of the event or through a monthly plan
FROM INTEREST TO FIRST DEAL
Getting started is easy.
We recommend at least one event per week for one month. You are not locked into a long-term agreement—the first month simply gives promotion and word of mouth time to build a following.

Meet at your venue
We look over the space together and discuss the setup and per-table pricing.

Choose the right night
We target a slower night when a recurring poker crowd can make the greatest difference.

Promote the launch
We provide posters and promote the game through social media and both websites.

Deal the first game
We bring the poker equipment, dealers, and sign-up sheet and run the tournament.
LOW-RISK FOR YOUR VENUE
You only pay when at least eight players attend.
Our fee is a small amount per table with an eight-player minimum per table. If fewer than eight players attend, your venue does not pay for that event. The game may still be held, and you may choose whether to offer a gift certificate and what amount to provide.
